Description

This beautiful set contains Spanish extra virgin olive oil and a Reserva Sherry Vinegar D.O.P Jerez. The extra virgin olive oil is presented in a narrow-shaped tin illustrated with part of a painting depicting Don Quixote and Sancho Panza. This is because the oil comes from Castilla la Mancha, within sight of the windmills that feature in the famous novel. The oil is blended to balance the mix of peppery, fruity and grassy flavoured olives. High in oleic acid, it's very stable when heated, and perfect to cook with.

The vinegar is a classic aged sherry vinegar from El Majuelo in Jerez, Andalucia. It is aged in oak barrels using the traditional system of blending vinegars from different vintages over time. The ageing oak lends a rich mellow flavour with toasted notes, yet the vinegar is still sharp and floral. It's perfect for salad dressings and sauces or drizzling over gazpacho.
